Foot assessment training
About the Course/qualification
The Feet First Medical Practitioner course has been designed and produced by Feet First Foot and Health College as part of our in-house training course leading to the award of a diploma in Medical Foot Health Practice (Dip MFHP) and you will be entitled to use the term Medical Foot Practitioner.

The course does not lead to State/ HPC registration - which is the only qualification recognised for practice within tha NHS (for this you need to undertake a full time 3 year degree programme at the approved university).

The Course Includes
  • Introduction to clinic (optional).
  • All study units and tutor support.
  • Introduction workshop - instruments, padding, strapping, nail cutting technique, use of scalpel
    (usually £105 - free for limited time).
  • Administration support.
  • Tailor-made business advice and support.
  • Two week practical training
  • Practical training is one on one or a maximum of 2 students to one tutor
  • All your theory training, practical training and two print copies of your diploma are included in the price
  • Advice on suppliers.

Once you have successfully passed the course work, practical training and attended a life support course (we will arrange this), you will be a fully qualified medical foot practitioner and be automatically covered by our college insurance scheme for any malpractice claim against you.
