Acupuncture and massages are now widely considered as natural medicine for the 21st century. It originates from traditional Chinese medicine which has existed for over 4000 years, it views the body as an organic compound with networks of meridians that connect all the organs, blood vessels, tendons and muscles together.
What exactly is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very small, fine, sterile disposable needles into the body surface. They are gently tweaked by the practitioner, to start alleviating symptoms and re-balancing the body’s natural energy. This lasts for about 20 minutes and then the rest of the treatment is concluded with a soothing massage to relax the body.

The main purpose of acupuncture is to achieve balance between all these connecting meridians, and in by doing so not only treats the symptoms of the condition, but treats and cures the underlying cause of the condition.

What can Acupuncture treat?
Our acupuncture and massage service is primarily aimed at muscular and joint pain, whether it is from repetitive strain, a high impact injury or sports injury. All treatments start with a full consultation with our Chinese doctor to diagnose the exact problem to alleviate and cure painful symptoms.

Acupuncture can also treat a wide variety of diseases and conditions from muscular pain, dermatological skin conditions, internal issues and female and male orientated ailments. It has also had increasing positive affects with addiction and mental issues such as smoking, insomnia and anxiety.

What exactly is a Chinese massage?
Chinese massages are used to alleviate stress and strain from the body and is not necessarily used only to treat medical issues, but can be a nice addition to relax at the end of the day, or a nice welcomed weekend treat.

Chinese massages can also involve hot cupping and heat therapy, which warm the body allowing your joints and muscles to fully relax and loosen up.

Whether you have a painful or medical condition that you want a natural cure for, acupuncture is the way forward and has had a high success rate, however if does not cure condition it will at the least dramatically reduce the symptoms of the underlying condition.

And if you just wanted a treat and to loosen up then a Chinese massage will definitely have you relaxed and more supple by the end of the treatment.
